CLEMSON — Clemson announced Monday afternoon that it has added a matchup with Georgia Southern to its 2026 schedule.
The Tigers will host the Eagles at Death Valley on Sept. 12, 2026. The two programs last met in 2018 when Clemson earned a 38-7 home win.
Clemson will also play at LSU and host South Carolina and Charleston Southern in 2026.
Georgia Southern is coming off of an 8-5 season that included a win over Louisiana Tech in the New Orleans Bowl.
Clemson went 10-2 last season, falling to Ohio State in the College Football Playoff.
The Tigers are expected to compete for a College Football Playoff berth again in 2021, despite Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne moving on to the NFL.
D.J. Uiagalelei takes over at quarterback and expectations are once again high for Dabo Swinney’s squad.
